Preaching at St Patricks Day

Our evangelism at the St Patrick’s parade went well. We had great dialogue with atheist, homosexuals, and evolutionist and one person was all three. I also had the opportunity to preach on “the soil and sower parable”. A lady stopped to listen to the Gospel and afterward she came up to speak to me. She said, “three years ago I heard you and I hated your message and what you stood for but for two years Gods word stuck in my heart and today I am a follower of Christ. I came here today in hopes to see you guys again to thank you for being faithful to Gods’ word.” May this encourage us all to the power of Gods’ word. I was reminded of, Romans- 1:16 “ For I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” May our Lord continue to be glorified among the nations.
There were some questions and statements that came up I think the body of Christ need to think through. They are as follows:
1. How can God love a person if he puts them in hell?
2. I am an atheist I do not believe in hell it does not bother me.
3. How can you say God is good when he demands stoning of gays in the Old Testament?
4. Matt 8:32-34 How can you say God is good when he destroys peoples source of employment?
Remember in all of these questions your answer must lead them back to the Gospel.
