Well, another year is closing, and we have had the privilege of taking the Gospel of hope all over this Nation as a ministry. We are all getting ready to gather around the table with family and give thanks, and then a few short weeks later, we will be celebrating Christmas, the birth of our Savior. In this article, I wanted to briefly reflect on the thankfulness we should have for God’s revealed objective truth, how Jesus had conversations, and share our ten-year vision as a ministry and a board of directors.

I was reading John 18, and was just amazed how Jesus interacted with people from all walks of life. Jesus constantly reviews what is being said in a conversation to Him. Review does two amazing things in a conversation. One, it shows people he was listening. Two, for Jesus—a majority of the time—he used their own words to remind them of the truth. Here is an example of the master teacher at work.

John 18:37-38:  “Therefore, Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this purpose, I have been born, and for this, I have come into the world: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.” Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?””

A review of what Pilate said by Jesus brought Pilate to ask the most critical question that any human can ask. What is truth? In a crazy chaotic world, people need to listen to what the Savior said to Pilate now more than ever. Unfortunately, Pilate missed it that day. However, the leaders here at Gospel of God Ministries will share until we go to be with Jesus. Read again the Saviors words, “Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.” Two things:

  1. Christians have the honor to believe in God’s revealed objective truth.

  2. They listen/read what He has said and obey.

When is the last time you have taken a conversation in the direction of the truth of the Gospel? Take my challenge. Do it this Christmas season; you will not regret it. In the middle of all the shopping and family gatherings, share the true meaning of Christmas. Apply the above two points. Listen and review what is being said to you. Then give the amazing Gospel!

Our ten-year vision will be implemented into three different phases. As a board here at GGM, we are going to be breaking our Nation into six districts. North East, South East, North Midwest, South Midwest, North West, and South West. Phase one is within three and half years; we will strive—by the Lord’s will—to have a GGM leader in all six districts. Phase two is within six years to establish another hub of shaping believers, sharing the Gospel, and supporting the local church in the South West district. Phase three is to establish four hubs within the six districts of shaping believers, sharing the Gospel, and supporting the local church within ten years.

The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps. (Proverbs 19:6)  We know it is the heart of God for us to share His good news, but the Lord will have to establish our steps to make sure this plan will succeed. Thank you for partnering and praying to this end; it is a vision that only God can fulfill. It is my hope and prayer at the end of ten years, all of us can look back and glorify God on what He has done because this was not built on one man’s charisma or clever growth strategy, but the faithfulness of God to bless because it is His heart to see people saved. Have a very thankful thanksgiving because of the truth that God has revealed to all of us. Until next month, go out and share the Gospel because the truth worth sharing is the truth that transforms.
