I Don’t Believe In God Because Of Logic
Sep 9th 2013 | Written by Tommy Waltz
We had a team of six from GGM hit the streets of Raleigh, NC, this past Friday Night. I am so privileged to lead a ministry with the team members and partners we have here at GGM. Thank you, partners, for holding the rope for us financially and prayerfully so that we can go out into the harvest field to proclaim the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. The following paragraph is a small excerpt from Friday night's outreach.
Michael stated, "I don't believe in God because of logic!" He continued to tell me his story about growing up Catholic and being confirmed at an early age. He was just one of many that God continued to bring by the proclamation of His word that night. I shared with him why logic solidified my belief in God. After I finished giving a reason for my belief, he asked if the bible could help him understand more about what I was telling him. I assured him that it could and challenged him to read the scriptures. I watched Michael walk away into the windy NC night and ponder, even now, what God will do with the conversation that took place on that street corner. Will he be saved? Will God use him as an evangelist in His harvest field? I don't know. However, we are called to be faithful to the proclamation of His word and leave the rest up to God.
I leave you with Isaiah 55:11, "So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."
